Eminem Set To Develop New Docu-Series On “Stan Culture”

Eminem, the iconic rapper, has exciting news for his fans. He is co-producing a documentary titled “Stans” that will delve deep into the world of his enthusiastic fans. The documentary will explore the term “stans,”  which Eminem coined in his 2000 song featuring Dido. The song is from the perspective of a delusional fan who believes they share a parasocial relationship with the rapper.

The upcoming documentary will be an insightful and personal journey into super fandom, according to media reports. It will be explored from the unique perspective of one of the most enduring artists, Eminem, and his passionate fans. Eminem’s production company, Shady Films, is co-producing the documentary, and Steven Leckart is the director. Although the documentary’s release date has yet to be announced, it is expected to be released later this year.

Eminem recently released a song called “Doomsday Pt. 2,” where he reignited his feud with Benzino. The song sees Eminem mocking Benzino’s financial status and physical appearance. This has created a buzz among his fans.

Paul Rosenberg said,

“Stans will be the opportunity for us to turn the camera around and ask the audience about being fans—aand in some cases, fanatics. This is a study of the relationship between fanbase and artist through the lens of one of Eminem’s most fascinating songs and one of the world’s most important entertainers.”
