Fans React As J. Cole & Wale Reunite To Celebrate Manager’s Birthday

There’s some gladdening news on the TL for fans of J. Cole and Wale, who have been in social media conversations following the reunion of the duo in honor of longtime manager Ibrahim “Ib” Hamad’s 40th birthday.

Fans of the duo will be thrilled to see the photos, especially since Cole and Wale have collaborated on numerous occasions over the years, including “Rather Be With You (Vagina Is for Lovers)” and “Beautiful Bliss” in 2009.

More recently, they worked together on the track “Poke It Out” from Wale’s album Folarin 2 in 2021. In 2016, Cole also rapped about Wale on the song “False Prophets.”

Another video from the event shows Cole cutting to the chase while raising a toast to Hamad. Taking to IG, Hamad captioned the post, saying,

“Thank you to everyone for the birthday wishes and to anyone that came out to celebrate with me this weekend,”

“I feel blessed to have an amazing family and so many friends that have been by my side for a very long time. The love was felt and I’m thankful for everyone that made my 40th a special memory I’ll never forget.”
