Fat Joe Asks For Drake’s Forgiveness For The “All The Way Up” Remix Rejection

Drake hasn’t requested Fat Joe to be on a tune since the 6 God turned down his request to be on the “All The Way Up” remix, now he’s asking for forgiveness. The Terror Squad leader said that the 6 God was desperate to appear on the song and took drastic efforts to do so in an interview with the Rap Radar podcast, which was broadcast on Thursday.

Joe claimed Drake FaceTimed him three times late at night, asking for the song’s instrumental. Fat Joe always turned down his request, claiming that it was a rare situation for him, which is why Jay-Z was the ideal choice for the song’s remix. He claimed that at the time, he couldn’t afford a “posse cut.”

Drake apparently misunderstood this and hasn’t asked Joe to be on a song since, something the Terror Squad commander now regrets and wishes Drake forgiveness for.

Showing remorse, Joe said, “Nah, man! Drake gotta forgive me,” he said. “I’m like, ‘Damn, man, please!’”

Drake and Fat Joe have had a lighthearted feud, with the Terror Squad leader recently revealing that he’s “jealous” of the OVO hitmaker. On August 16, a few days before his 53rd birthday, Joey Crack turned to Instagram to inform that Drizzy had sent him a gift through Stake, the online gambling company he collaborated with in 2022.

The Bronx rap legend posted a video of himself unwrapping the item, but his joy was short-lived when he discovered personalized socks inside. Check out the full interview below:
