Future Lands His Monumental 10th Number-One Album

Trap superstar, Future, has achieved two consecutive number-one albums on the Billboard 200 chart this year alone. After more than a year of teasing, he and Metro Boomin collaborated on WE DON’T TRUST YOU last month. They had enough material recorded in all that time for a second, ninety-minute album.

We Still Don’t Trust You was released earlier this month and spent the weekend at number one on the Billboard 200. With relatively strong leads over the rest of the chart, both albums debuted at number one, giving the rapper his ninth and tenth consecutive number-one albums.

His achievement placed him formally in the top 5 rappers of all time for number-one albums. He is technically tied for fourth place with Eminem, who has released ten number-one albums, the most recent of which is Music To Be Murdered By from 2020. After becoming the number one on the chart for the eleventh time this year with VULTURES 1, Kanye West is now at number three.

After For All The Dogs was released last year, Drake sits in second place with 13. With an astounding 14 number-one albums, Jay-Z continues to dominate the rapper charts, even in spite of his an absence of new releases.

Metro Boomin and Future are going to tour in support of their two new albums later this year. Although tickets went on sale last week, sales haven’t exactly taken off.
