“More Love Less Ego” By Wizkid Receives Over 200M Spotify Streams

The ongoing competition between Afrobeat sensation Ayodeji Balogun, better known by his stage name Wizkid, and his peers remains prominent as the Lagos-born singer reaches a noteworthy milestone on the streaming service behemoth, Spotify.

According to reports and new stats,  Wizkid’s album, More Love Less Ego (MLLE), has received over 200 million Spotify streams, securing his place as the industry’s leading force. This accomplishment demonstrates Wizkid’s continuing appeal and global influence as one of the most prominent musicians in Africa.

Wizkid’s fifth studio album, More Love Less Ego, was released in 2022 and includes collaborations with a number of well-known musicians, including Ayra Starr, Naira Marley, and Skepta. Hits like Money and Love, Balance, Sugar, and Balance to Me are among the album’s many standout tracks.

Once Wizkid released a teaser for the album in 2022, fans of the Grammy Award-winning musician had been excitedly awaiting the arrival of More Love Less Ego, creating a lot of buzz in the music industry. The singer has already announced that his forthcoming album would be named, “Morayo,” after his late mother.
