In Ikere Ekiti, Ekiti State, a middle-aged man who was reportedly a herbalist collapsed and passed away while allegedly engaging in sexual activity with a pastor’s wife. Fadayomi Kehinde, also known as Ejiogbe, passed away in a hotel room in the city. According to reports, the herbalist collapsed following the sex session, prompting the woman, reportedly the pastor’s wife, to seek assistance.

He was brought to a neighboring hospital, where he was later pronounced dead by several hotel staff members who were allegedly on duty. According to his friends, the man passed away as a result of a thunderbolt called “Magun” in Yoruba, which is typically thrown at married women who are thought to be having extramarital affairs. The woman’s husband’s church was allegedly invaded by the late herbalist’s friends and colleagues, who were upset at the occurrence, and vandalized the structure.

Additionally, it was learned that the police had detained the woman for protection while they looked into the matter further. As a result, the deceased’s body has been placed in the town’s public hospital’s morgue. According to Sunday Abutu, the public relations officer for the Ekiti police command, the police arrived on the scene as soon as they were informed of the incident by hotel staff. He claimed that after the man’s demise was confirmed, his body was transferred to the hospital.
