Imagine Dragons’ Song, ‘Children Of The Sky,’ From The Film, ‘Starfield,’ Has Been Released

Children of the Sky, a meditative song by the alternative pop-rock group Imagine Dragons, has been released in advance of Bethesda’s brand-new Starfield game. Just over three minutes long, this engaging song skillfully combines recognizable themes from the game’s original music with stunning images of several worlds.

The debut of Starfield, which was first announced in 2018, has been eagerly anticipated. This musical cooperation adds an added element of anticipation to the space role-playing game’s debut, which is scheduled to take place in September. On Children of the Sky, Imagine Dragons and Starfield’s Inon Zur collaborated.

Dan Reynolds, the band’s frontman, said in a press release that the group is honored to have worked with Bethesda to create Children of the Sky. He claims that he has spent the majority of his life playing the studios’ games because he is a passionate video game aficionado.

It’s interesting to note that Imagine Dragons are no strangers to the world of video games. In addition to creating tie-in songs like Enemy for the League of Legends offshoot, Arcane, and 2014’s Warriors in cooperation with game producer Riot Games, the band is world renowned for singles like Radioactive and Believer.

Starting on September 1, 2023 (GMT+8), Starfield will be playable on PC and Xbox Series X|S for those who purchased early access. Listen to the new song below:
