Joe Budden Wants J Cole To “Fix His Reputation” By Dissing Kanye West

During the latest episode of his podcast, Joe Budden discussed his belief that J. Cole can restore his reputation by responding to Kanye West’s recent diss on his “Like That” remix. Budden explained that he hoped Cole would retaliate against West, who trolled him on the remix last weekend. Budden also reminded his listeners that Cole had previously apologised to Kendrick Lamar at the Dreamville Festival for dissing him on the song “7 Minute Drill,” which he has since removed from streaming services. Budden believes that Cole’s apology was a mature decision and showed his willingness to take responsibility for his actions. However, on the “Like That” remix, Kanye West directed some harsh words at Cole, who had previously targeted him in his 2016 track “False Prophets,” and Budden expressed his belief that Cole should respond to West’s diss and defend himself against the criticism.

Budden said,

“This moment is J Cole’s free parking,”

“I told y’all that J Cole was gonna have to find somebody to kick his ass and it couldn’t be nobody chump and small. There is no better person than Kanye, the n***a that you been had smoke with, the n***a that been had smoke with your OG, Hov, whose now on a record saying some sh*t about you. I know that you’re home with the sage. You’re saging yourself. I know that this beef sh*t is not in your spirit but if you were to wake up one day in a different mood, now’s the time. Kill him. Make an example out of this non-rapping n***a. It’ll be easy too. It’ll be easy.”

“I think that’s the reprieve that he needs. I think that solves all J Cole’s problems.”

Do you think J. Cole should “take the bait” and retaliate against Ye?
