Joeboy Reveals He Communicates With Plants

Joeboy, the stage name of Nigerian artist Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, has revealed a fascinating facet of his life: his affinity for spirituality and plant life. The well-known performer, known for hits like “Baby,” said that he uses the plants in his room as a medium for communication.

When Joeboy appeared as a guest on the Zero Conditions podcast, he discussed his unusual practice and emphasized the significance of spirituality in his life. He stated that he thought it was important to have a strong spiritual foundation, whether that came via prayer or another method.

The musician shared that he personally tends to four plants in his room as part of his explanation of his love of nature and the reasons behind his tree tattoos. Anthony, Themal, Raphael, and Vanessa were the affectionate names he gave them. Joeboy acknowledged talking to these plants because, on sometimes, he felt that it was a more effective way to communicate his feelings than doing so with people.

Joeboy recently expressed his disagreement with Burna Boy’s views on the lack of substance in Afrobeats music. In response to the Grammy-winning singer’s allegation, Joe stated that anything created is valid and valuable. To support his assertion, Joeboy revealed his reactions to several types of music, claiming that everything that interacts with the audience has substance.
