The anonymous man wrote on his page that he had seen the actor in various places but had always been too afraid to approach him. The terrified man requested that Kanayo be changed from his on-screen persona of a ritualist to one of a man of God. Popular Nollywood veteran Kanayo O. Kanayo has earned the nickname “Nnanyi Sacrifice” due to his frequently played villainous roles in earlier movies. Until today, the actor’s reputation had not been altered, and a man recently expressed his worry and fear of him. The Nollywood legend shared the piece on his Instagram page, giving the grown man the right to remain anonymous while admitting he was too afraid to approach him in various settings.
The man asserted that Nollywood portrayed the movie star as an unrepentant and joyous ritualist and that he is not permitted to eat in the same room as the actor and from the same plate. He questioned why Nollywood made money by characterizing “Nnanyi Sacrifice” as a ritualist in just one role. Aside from that, the poster stated that Kanayo needed to be transformed into a true man of God because, despite hearing that the Nollywood icon is a good man, he fears being used in ritual if he approaches him.
