Karol G’s Private Jet Allegedly Makes An Emergency Landing After Pilot Notices Smoke In The Cockpit
Latin music icon, Karol G’s private aircraft apparently had to make an emergency landing on Thursday night. The singer’s aircraft made an emergency landing at Van Nuys Airport in Los Angeles at approximately 9 p.m. local time, according to local media station ABC7, after the pilot noticed smoke in the cockpit.
The aircraft, carrying sixteen passengers, took off on Thursday night from Hollywood Burbank Airport but returned to the ground when the pilot reported an issue in midair, ABC7 reported. In video obtained by the media outlet, the Grammy Award-winning singer was seen giving some of her fellow travelers hugs as they got off the aircraft. When the jet landed, airport emergency vehicles also met it.
The outlet said that there were no early reports of injuries and that the reason of the smoke was unknown. Currently on her Mañana Será Bonito tour throughout Latin America, the star—real name Carolina Giraldo Navarro—is enjoying her success. She will next perform live in Guatemala on Friday.
Karol’s record Mañana Será Bonito won her the best music urbana album Grammy last month, marking her first Grammy win. What’s funny, though, is that the singer reportedly couldn’t eat or sleep two weeks to the album’s release, but somehow everything hits the gym and works out.
