Lil Durk Says Bey’ Is His “Dream Collabo” Following First Grammy Win

Over the weekend, Lil Durk achieved a significant milestone in his career, reaching a new peak by adding a Grammy to his long list of accolades. Despite already having a blossoming career, he made waves last year with his hit song “All My Life,” featuring J. Cole, which took the Melodic Rap Prize at the Grammys. The track was incredibly successful, peaking at #2 on the Hot 100 charts and receiving nearly 300 million streams on Spotify. On Sunday, the track won Durk his first-ever Grammy award for Best Melodic Rap Performance, cementing his place in the music industry. Also, Drake and J. Cole recently announced updates regarding their joint “It’s All A Blur” tour, which is set to take place in 2024. The tour will now feature performances from both J. Cole and Lil Durk, in addition to 21 Savage, who performed with Drake during the tour’s first leg last year. During a Grammy interview, Lil Durk hinted at the possibility of collaborating with country singer Morgan Wallen on an entire album. The two artists have already worked together twice on the tracks “Broadway Girls” and “Stand By Me.”

In another interview with Billboard, Lil Durk expressed his desire to collaborate with the legendary Beyonce, the most-awarded artist in Grammy history, who won four awards last year, bringing her total to 32, the most of all time. Lil Durk admires Beyonce not only for her impressive Grammy wins but also for her unmatched talent and influence in the music industry. He believes collaborating with her would be a dream come true and an excellent opportunity to create something groundbreaking and iconic—and maybe another Grammy nomination.

Responding to the “dream collaboration” question, he joked,

“It’s a few, but I gotta go see Beyoncé one day. Got to. That means I’ll be back”
