Together, they gave a lovely rendition of “Jambo Jumbo” harmoniously.
Jon Batiste spoke about how “All Night Long” is a beacon of togetherness, and Lionel and Jon’s rendition of the song was a perfect example of that. Later, Jon and Andra Day joined forces to belt out their version of “We Are the World,” earning Lionel’s approval.
The Netflix documentary “The Greatest Night in Pop” made its Hollywood debut at the Egyptian Theatre. The history of the 1985 hit song “We Are the World,” a charity track that helped generate over $60 million to combat starvation and famine in Ethiopia, is told in this documentary.
