Lionel Richie And Earth, Wind & Fire Announce Joint 2024 Tour Dates

Lionel Richie, the legendary singer-songwriter, is set to embark on a U.S. tour alongside the popular band Earth, Wind & Fire this spring. The tour will span various cities in the United States, commencing in Knoxville, Tennessee, in late May and concluding a few weeks later in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Following the completion of the tour, Lionel Richie will return to Las Vegas for a residency at the Wynn Resort, which is scheduled to continue until November 16, 2024. Fans can expect to hear some of his biggest hits, including “Hello,” “All Night Long,” and “Say You, Say Me.”

In addition to the tour, Lionel Richie’s contribution to the 1985 charity single “We Are the World” is the focus of an upcoming documentary called The Greatest Night in Pop, set to release on Netflix on January 29. The documentary provides insightful commentary on the song’s making, including behind-the-scenes footage and interviews with some of the biggest musical talents of that era.
