Ruger Builds Anticipation, Shares Official Tracklist For Upcoming Album “Ru The World” On Social Media
Ruger, the talented singer and songwriter signed to Jonzing World, recently announced the official tracklist for his debut album, “Ru The World”.
On August 30, 2023, Ruger shared the exciting news with his fans, revealing that the album features a total of seventeen songs, including collaborations with notable artists such as Stefflon Don, Sauti Sol, Govana, Projexx, and Jugglerz. The talented producer Kukbeatz has contributed significantly to the album, showcasing his exceptional skills on multiple tracks. Ruger became popular in the Nigerian music industry following the success of his hit song “Bounce”. He was discovered by the renowned musician and performer D’Prince in 2021 and subsequently signed a recording contract with Jonzing World. “Bounce” has been a significant hit, garnering over 52 million streams on YouTube and reaching the number one spot on the Apple Music Nigeria charts.
The impressive progress made by Ruger is evident in his three prior works, as they showcase his hard work and dedication. His debut EP, Pandemic, released on March 4, 2021, garnered significant success and was awarded Platinum certification in Sub-Saharan Africa. The track “Bounce” was particularly noteworthy and highly acclaimed. Following this success, Ruger released his second EP, The Second Wave, which further solidified his musical talent with the hit song “Dior.” In recognition of his achievements, Ruger received nominations in seven categories at the AFFRIMA awards in 2021.
