Logos Olori Elaborates On His Journey To Stardom

Olalekan Emeka Taiwo, a Nigerian musician and recent DMW signee, better known by his stage name Logos Olori, has opened up about his struggles and experiences in the music business as he shares his journey to success.

In an recent interview with Cool FM, Olori disclosed that prior to gaining Davido’s notice, he had sent direct messages (DMs) to a number of influential people in the industry, including producer Don Jazzy, in an attempt to secure opportunities. Olori’s story of not hearing back from Don Jazzy despite his efforts illustrates the challenges that up-and-coming musicians frequently face in gaining recognition from well-known personalities.

It’s interesting to note that Olori said he had never asked Davido personally for a record deal. Nevertheless, Olori’s signing to Davido’s record company indicates that the musician has a good sense of talent and is eager to provide up-and-coming musicians with a platform.

Furthermore, Olori expressed his dismay at his failed attempts to work with Olamide, even though the latter had posted one of his songs. Olori discussed how he lost out on getting a verse from Olamide, highlighting the difficulties that up-and-coming musicians encounter when trying to work with well-known performers.

Thinking back on his DM exchanges with other musicians, Olori disclosed that he had been involved with Burna Boy—though not for musical reasons.
