DMW 2.0: Davido Signs Two New Artistes Logos Olori, Morravey To Rebranded DMW Label

With the signing of two new musicians, the Nigerian singer, and a music executive, Davido has started the rebranding and relaunching his record label, Davido Music Worldwide, or DMW. The singer of “Omo Baba Lowo” made the informal announcement after revealing the track listing for his upcoming album, “Timeless.”

In a statement released Wednesday, the record label’s management acknowledged signing the new acts. Morravey and Logos Olori, two of the latest signees, are among the musicians who appear on the much-awaited album. Angelique Kidjo, a famed singer from Benin, Skepta, a British rapper; and the Nigerian singers Asake, Fave, and Cavemen are some others.

According to reports, Port Harcourt-born singer and composer Morravey has a distinctive aptitude for fusing African sounds with her superb vocals. In addition, Yoruba music inspires the phenomenal Afrobeats vocalist Logos Olori.

Davido changed the name of his 2016-founded DMW record label to DMW 2.0. The relaunch is anticipated to happen soon. Liya, Peruzzi, May D, and Dremo continue to call DWM their home, and Mayorkun, Lil Frosh, and Yonda were formerly signed to the label.
