Nigerian singer and rapper, Logos Olori, faced a harrowing experience recently when he was involved in a severe car accident in Lekki, Lagos. The incident, which took place on a Sunday, has raised concerns about the state of the Lekki road and the potential hazards it poses to motorists.
Logos Olori, a signee of the renowned Davido Music Worldwide (DMW) label, took to his Instagram page to confirm the accident. He shared distressing images of the damaged vehicle, which bore witness to the severity of the crash. In a surprising turn of events, Olori revealed that Davido, the label boss, has pledged to provide him with a new car as a replacement for the damaged one. This gesture showcases the close-knit bond between the artist and his label head.
In his post, Olori didn’t just express gratitude for his safety but also highlighted the dire state of the Lekki road. He urged the government to take immediate action to repair the dilapidated road, emphasizing its potential risk to motorists. His caption read, “Thank God for life. Only one Godfather 001 @davido. New whip on the way. Make them try do Lekki road.”
This isn’t the first time Logos Olori has made headlines. Earlier in July, his debut single ‘Jaye Lo’ video stirred controversy. The video, which depicted individuals praying and dancing in front of a Mosque, drew criticism, especially from the Muslim community, who labeled it as disrespectful to Islam. Following the backlash, Davido, who had initially shared a clip from the video, decided to remove the contentious video from his social media platforms. Subsequently, a new video was shot for the song, addressing the concerns raised.
As the news of the accident spreads, fans and well-wishers have poured in their support and prayers for Olori, hoping for his swift recovery and continued success in his musical journey.
