Davido Stirs Reactions By Releasing A New Visual For Logos Olori’s “Jaye Lo”

David Adeleke, also known as Davido, has released a new official video for his signee, Logos Olori’s song “Jaiye Lo.” Remember that a few weeks ago, the DMW boss uploaded a 45-second short sample of the song on his social media platforms to promote it ahead of its formal release.

However, the video sparked outrage because it depicted guys dressed up as praying Muslim clerics dancing in front of a mosque right after bowing to pray. As a result, several Muslims found the representation insulting and rushed to social media to criticize the artist, with many demanding that he remove the video and apologize.

It was so heated that prominent Kannywood actor Ali Nuhu joined the chorus of Muslims condemning Davido’s controversial video. After receiving harsh criticism, Davido eventually caved in and removed the contentious music video from his social media platforms. In a recent development, the ‘Fem’ singer took to Instagram to reveal a new video for the song.

A review of the new video finds that it does not include the contentious scene that sparked outrage on social media a few weeks ago. And though many people criticized the DMW boss for removing the previous video, many others applauded the new one. Check it out below:
