Miley Cyrus Speaks On “Flowers”

Miley Cyrus, riding high on the success of her latest single, “Flowers,” turned to social media to mark the one-month anniversary of the song before Valentine’s Day.

The Wrecking Ball singer took to Twitter on the 13th and shared a sample from the song, which she describes as a memorable tune for this year’s Valentine’s Day.

She wrote, “Happy one-month anniversary of Flowers! To still be celebrating #1 on the hot 100 & around the world is phenomenal. With Valentine’s day coming up tomorrow, this song feels even more meaningful to me. I hope this holiday is filled with the joy of honoring love in all of its forms.”

Miley Cyrus also posted on her Instagram Stories, saying, “it’s human nature to want to give & receive it. Sharing your love is special, but it’s always important to save enough of that love for yourself. You are enough. Anything more is just extra. Thank you for another incredible week. I love you.”

Flowers, Cyrus” song released on January 12, 2023, was a tremendous success due to its captivating lyrics and excellent composition. However, based on the lyrics, many fans assumed the song was about the singer’s ex-husband Liam Hemsworth.
