Nollywood Veteran Undergoes Surgeries Following Rallying Cry By Netizens
The timeline has been blessed with joyous news as it has been reported by media that the ailing nollywood veteran John Okafor, also popularly known as Mr. Ibu, has finally received medical attention and has also undergone two successful surgeries.
This piece of information was revealed by the actor’s adopted daughter and social media personality Jazmine Okafor. Taking to her IG story, the veteran’s daughter displayed emotionality, as she updated concerned Nigerians on the improving health of her father, while lauding his strength to fight his ailment.
The actor, through his daughter, had cried out on social media for financial assistance, and many of his colleagues and well-meaning Nigerians responded, leading to his undergoing the successful surgeries. There have been other developments to the donations made by Nigerians and some growing controversy too but his daughter has however, shared an update on her dad’s health via Instagram on Tuesday morning in a heartfelt post.
It read as,
“Never seen anyone so strong… even after two major surgeries, you were still trying to be funny like nothing happened, even in your lowest you still cracked jokes!”“I promise you, if there’s a God in heaven, you are getting out of this bed, stronger and alive. This is the strongest I have seen you in 3 weeks and I’m so excited! Fight this and get well soon, sweet papa.”
