Nollywood Veteran, Zack Orji, Goes In For A Brain Surgery
In a rather disturbing turn of recent events, the veteran Nollywood actor, Zack Orji has been faced with a life-threatening challenge which required an immediate brain surgery performed on him. This occured after Orji had collapsed at his home on New Year’s Eve.
According to reports, the actor is fighting for his life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the National Hospital in Abuja, and is currently in a critical state. At the moment, Zack is reportedly unable to walk or speak, but numerous tests have been performed to identify the exact cause of his ailment, according to people close to the actor.
Zack Orji had slumped in the bathroom two days before, a disturbing episode that compounded worries that had been raised in the previous few weeks as he had complained of weakness. So it’s either the people around him were not exactly paying attention or his complaints were taken lightly.
According to sources, Zack Orji was visited in the hospital by Barrister Hannatu Musawa, Minister of Arts, Culture, and the Creative Economy, who emphasized the veteran actor’s value as a resource for the country. Remi Tinubu, the First Lady of Nigeria, also came to provide assistance at this trying period.
Giving a health update, Musawa disclosed that Zack Orji had undergone brain surgery on Tuesday after being moved to a private hospital in Abuja.
