NPC’s Ad-Hoc Employee Recruitment Portal Closes On December 28
According To The States Commissioner, NPC's Ad-Hoc Employee Recruitment Portal Will Close Soon
The e-recruitment portal for ad hoc workers for the 2023 Population and Housing Census will close on December 28, according to the National Population Commission (NPC). This was said by Mr. Chidi Ezeoke, the Federal Commissioner who represents Anambra State in the Commission, on Monday in Awka at the start of a 10-day Zonal Level Training of Principal Trainers.
Ezeoke stated that the deadline was extended to December 28 to allow more applicants and encouraged qualified people to take advantage of the opportunity.
“Earlier, we announced that the recruitment portal will be closed on Dec.10. But after the board met, they decided to extend it to December 28 to allow more people to register and apply,” he said.
He claimed that the facilitators, who would instruct the supervisors and enumerators at the state level, needed the training. The preparation of the second-level trainers for standardized census training and an adequate explanation of the exercise’s concept and terminology were among the training’s objectives, according to Ezeoke. Babajide Sanwo-Olu, the governor of Lagos State, has pledged that his administration will provide the right conditions for a trouble-free National Population and Housing Census in 2023.
At the project stakeholders gathering in Alausa, Ikeja, and Lagos, Sanwo-Olu offered the promise.
