Odumodublvck Explains Why He Will Never Relocate To Lagos
Hip-hop musician Tochukwu Ojogwu, also known as Odumodublvck, who resides in Abuja, underlines that despite Lagos being the center of entertainment in Nigeria, he finds it challenging to consider going there. During a guest visit on Quincy Jonze’s podcast, Echoo Room, Odumodublvck made this revelation.
The perceived lack of safety in the city and the potential harm to his mental health are his main reasons for making this choice. Instead, he states that he would prefer to go to Abuja, where he is well-known and which is recognized for its calm and laid-back atmosphere.
Everyone knows Abuja is an important aspect of the rapper’s brand, and he wishes to keep it that way, though he has claimed that he would be willing to “dabble” in the ‘pond’ that is Lagos. Surprisingly, his supporters in Lagos love him even more than his admirers in Abuja. This was demonstrated at one of his final performances at LASU, the state-owned university.
Following claims that he was chased by cultists during Pocolee’s concert at LASU, Odumodublvck clarified why he was spotted fleeing. He said that the only reason he was fleeing the large crowd of fans was because the volume of fan chanting had become too loud.
