Seyi Vibez Explains Why People Perceive Him As Younger Than His Actual Age
Popular Neo-fuji Nigerian performer Seyi Vibez, has clarified why he is perceived by many as older than his actual age. According to the musician, who spoke in a new interview with Apple Music Africa Now Radio with Nandi Madiba, a lot of people think he’s older than he actually is because he looks to be doing things that people his age shouldn’t be doing.
Since the release of “Chance (Na Ham),” Seyi Vibez has seen enormous commercial success, which he says helps explain why people find it difficult to accept that he is only 23 years old. Nonetheless, the artist attributes his success to God and his late mother, whose memories inspire him even now.
Seyi Vibez also discussed his ascent to commercial success, the inspiration behind his music, and his choice to launch a label in the interview. Seyi Vibez signed the up-and-coming Street Pop group TMI Vibez to his record label, Vibez INC. Seyi Vibez believes the new singer he signed has the potential to be among the finest in Africa.
With his two EPs and two LPs, Seyi Vibez released more projects in 2023 than any other Nigerian mainstream artist. Seyi Vibez responded that music is his best form of expression, which is why he always records, when asked about his decision to release a lot of songs.
