Odunsi (The Engine) Releases Teasers To Two New Songs, And Fans Are Losing It
Two fresh teases of Odunsi The Engine’s upcoming tracks have been released to fans. Odunsi (The Engine), a Nigerian alternative artist, has posted two new song samples from his upcoming album. One of the songs is a sampling of Asa’s 2007 song “Eye Adaba.”
Via his social media handles, the singer shared song snippets with his followers and encouraged them to make TikTok videos with his voice. Getting Asa’s permission to utilize her voice from “Eye Adaba” was the aim.

Fans have since responded to the song previews with glee and heightened anticipation for the full releases.
Odunsi will undoubtedly lead you to some fascinating places if you give him a little faith. The effortlessly seductive EVERYTHING YOU HEARD IS TRUE, his genre defying EP, was released in May 2020. In retrospect, though, it seems like the Nigerian singer has returned to a whole different world, with a voracious desire for sounds from throughout the globe.
Odunsi’s latest four-track EP, DENIM, a seven-minute kinetic exercise that sends you in a dozen different directions, set the pace for his forthcoming era. Odunsi’s Afro-fusion sound, which combines elements of Afrobeats, electonica, R&B, reggae, and other genres, has won him a lot of praise. His next releases won’t be any different either.
