Hip-hop’s beloved couple, Offset and Cardi B, are back in the spotlight, this time for their musical collaboration. The duo is set to release a new single titled “Jealousy,” as announced by Offset on his Instagram on July 26th. The post showcased the song’s artwork with a caption that read, “Let’s talk about some music! Jealousy out this Friday! Link in bio!” indicating the song’s imminent release.

This isn’t the first time the couple has collaborated musically. Excluding their collaborations through the group Migos, “Jealousy” will be the sixth instance where Offset and Cardi B have teamed up as solo artists. Their musical journey together began with the remix of Cardi’s “Lick” in 2017. Their collaborations have since grown, including tracks like “Um Yea,” “Who Want the Smoke?” (featuring Lil Yachty), and the Grammy-nominated “Clout.”
The announcement of “Jealousy” has garnered significant attention, especially with Offset’s unique promotional strategy. “Jealousy” will be Offset’s third single this year, following “2 Live” (with Hit-Boy) and “TBS” (featuring R-Mean and Scott Storch). As a solo artist, Offset has made a significant mark on the charts. He has achieved 25 entries on the Billboard Hot 100, with hits like “Taste” (alongside Tyga) and “ZEZE” (with Travis Scott and Kodak Black) making it to the top 10. His debut solo studio album, “Father of 4,” peaked at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. Cardi B, on the other hand, has had a stellar career with five No. 1 hits on the Hot 100, including her iconic “Bodak Yellow” and the chart-topping “WAP” featuring Megan Thee Stallion. Her debut studio album, “Invasion of Privacy,” also clinched the top spot on the Billboard 200.
