Olivia Rodrigo Announces The Deluxe Version Of “Guts” And Unveils Its Extended Tracklist
Olivia Rodrigo hasn’t quite through spilling all of her Guts.
The smash 2023 album by the American pop sensation, GUTS (spilled), will be available in deluxe edition on Friday. She made the announcement on Instagram and during her performance on Wednesday night at Chicago’s United Center, the second night of her GUTS World Tour.
During the on-stage moment, fans snapped pictures and videos of Rodrigo unfolding and holding up a piece of paper that read, “GUTS DELUXE OUT FRIDAY,” while her backup dancers held signs with the names of the upcoming new songs.
The crowd cheered and the Grammy winner grinned at their response, according to the video that went viral on social media. The “Bad Idea Right?” singer shared a picture of herself and her dancers’ surprise on Instagram, along with a picture of the placard she held up on the ground surrounded by confetti.
The revised cover art for GUTS, which is the same album art as the original version but looks to have been shredded over Rodrigo’s face to reveal the deluxe title, was also featured on the carousel. The pop-rock musician verified five more tracks will be included on the project in the caption.
The tracklist was also verified by Rodrigo via her Instagram Story, where she posted a picture with the 12 original songs in a font reminiscent of a typewriter in black and the new songs, “Obsessed,” “Girl I’ve Always Been,” “Scared of My Guitar,” “Stranger,” and “So American,” which appeared to be scrawled in red.
