Nigerian singer Stanley Omah Didia, better known by his stage as Omah Lay, sparked an eruption of emotions among his fans during his recent concert in Germany. The singer has divided fans with his inability to tone down his bawdy gestures with female fans, despite attracting audiences with his stunning on-stage performances.
In response to earlier criticism, especially during a performance in London where he danced passionately with a fan’s girlfriend, breaking hearts, Omah Lay was seen in a video initially declining to bring any female fans on stage, claiming that he didn’t want to cause any issues.
Instead of a fan, Omah Lay chose to perform with a female dancer in an attempt to avoid reoccurring controversy. He did so by showcasing sensual choreography that sparked emotions from Nigerian fans. The female dancer came on stage covered with a puffer jacket that was subsequently taken off to reveal her frame, as Omah’s hit single, “Bend You” came on.
Omah put on a show as he always does while performing that track by letting the crowd observe silhouette moves of both him and the female behind a white, drawn curtain.
