Omah Lay’s “Reason” Tops Nigeria’s Turntable Music Chart For A Third Week

Omah Lay, a top Nigerian Afrobeat performer, has topped the Turntable Top 100 for the third week in a row. Omah Lay published the deluxe version of his critically acclaimed debut album ‘Boy Alone’ in June 2023, with six extra tracks that gave the album fresh life and improved its commercial appeal.

Omah Lay’s ‘Reason’ spends a record-breaking third week at the top of the TurnTable Top 100 (Chart week – June 30th, 2023 – July 6th, 2023). Asake’s ‘Basquiat’ remains at No. 2, while ‘Lonely At The Top’ jumps six spots to No. 3. KCee’s ‘Ojapiano’ falls one slot to #4, while Rema’s ‘Charm’ rises one spot to #5.

Davido’s song “Feel” climbs one position to number six, while Asake’s song “Amapiano” with Olamide falls three spots to number seven. Asake’s song “Sunshine” remains at number eight, Seyi Vibez’s song “Man Of The Year” climbs three spots to number nine, and Odumodu Blvck’s song “Firegun” with Fireboy debuts at number ten.

The Official Nigeria Top 100 chart rankings are determined by a weighted algorithm that takes into account local audio and video streaming as well as radio and satellite TV exposure in Nigeria. It is Nigeria’s first and only official standard music chart and features all of the country’s musical activities, including the official No. 1 single.
