Killer Mike Reacts To Kevin Durant/Stalley Collaboration

On Friday, the Grammy-winning rapper and activist Killer Mike took to Twitter to show some love to NBA star Kevin Durant for his new collaboration with Stalley titled “Scared Money.” Durant, who is known for his love of hip-hop, addressed the collaboration himself during All-Star Weekend, where he spoke with members of the media about his work on Stalley’s track and his A&R credit on Drake’s “For All The Dogs” back in 2023. It’s worth noting that Durant has been known to dabble in the music industry and has collaborated with other artists. However, his latest collaboration with Stalley has generated a lot of buzz among fans and industry insiders alike. And with Killer Mike, one of the most respected voices in hip-hop, giving his approval, it’s clear that “Scared Money” is a track worth checking out. Durant clarified that he’s not working on an album and only does this for fun.

Meanwhile, Killer Mike is having a career-defining year in 2024. At the Grammy Awards, he won three awards, including the coveted Best Rap Album for his project titled “Michael.” The Grammy-winning rapper praised Durant’s “slick” bars and congratulated him on releasing his latest track.

Mike wrote,

“Shawty Smooth with the style and slick with the bars,” “Bravo Brother.”
