On Billboards Around The World, Taylor Swift Shares Additional “Midnights” Lyrics
A number of billboards around the world display additional “Midnights” lyrics that Taylor Swift has unveiled. Tomorrow (October 21) will see the release of the singer-tenth songwriter’s studio album. Along with the hit “Anti-Hero,” it will also include the song “Snow On The Beach,” a duet with Lana Del Rey.
In collaboration with Spotify, Swift launched a weeklong series of lyric reveals at midnight on Monday (October 17). In Times Square in New York City, a huge screen displayed the words “I should not be left to my own devices…” Then, in London, a new line appeared that said, “I polish up real nice.”
The following phrase was written on a billboard in So Paulo, Brazil: “Just like clockwork, the dominoes cascaded in a line.” These lines were discovered in an advertisement in Swift’s native Nashville, Tennessee: “Did you ever have someone kiss you in a crowded room?”
Then, on a screen in Mexico City, these words appeared: “Breathe in, breathe through, breathe deep, breathe out.”

Swift also discusses the “five things that kept me up at night” in snippets found on the Spotify mobile pre-save page for “Midnights,” which served as inspiration for her upcoming new album. Taylor cited “self-loathing” as the first factor. In a subsequent video, Swift elaborated:
