It appears that this season has witnessed various reunions in the entertainment industry. Notably, The Migos, Dwayne Johnson/Vin Diesel, and now Taylor Swift with her exes. At Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, during her sold-out “The Eras Tour,” Taylor Swift pleasantly surprised the audience by inviting her ex-boyfriend Taylor Lautner on stage.
Actress Joey King and Presley Cash teamed up with the famous “Twilight” actor who inspired Taylor Swift’s song “Back To December” for her latest music video, “I Can See You”. The video featured all three actors and was released on Friday, following the release of Swift’s album “Speak Now (Taylor’s Version)”. Fans at the event were the first to witness the clip’s premiere.
During his appearance on stage, Lautner, who had a relationship with the singer in 2009, delighted a crowd of excited fans by executing a cartwheel and a backflip while descending the ramp. Swift commented on Lautner’s performance and their relationship.
“He was a very positive force in my life when I was making the ‘Speak Now’ album, and I want to say he did every single stunt that you saw in that music video; he and his wife have become some of my closest friends, and it’s very convenient because we all share the same first name.”
Lautner, in turn, returned the kind sentiments to Swift.
“I respect you so much. Not just for the singer you are, the songwriter, the performer — but truly for the human you are. You are gracious, humble, and kind, and I’m honoured to know you.”
In order to keep her fans in the loop, Swift utilized various social media platforms to provide an explanation for those who were unable to attend the cast reunion live. The singer wrote -hitting the caps bar,
“WELL. SO, I’ve been counting down for months and finally, the ‘I Can See You’ video is out. I wrote this video treatment over a year ago and wanted to play out symbolically how it felt to have the fans helping me reclaim my music. I had my heart set on Joey King, Taylor Lautner and Presley Cash starring in it. Joey and Presley had been in the video for ‘Mean’ when they were 9 and 13, and they are back and so ridiculously badass!! Taytay (Lautner) is INCREDIBLE in this (he didn’t have a stunt double!), and shout out to Tay Lautner (his wife) for being so awesome to hang with on set. The Tale of 3 Taylors…
