In recent social media video shared by the pastor himself, he was seen raising money for a young student who needed 140K naira for tuition but ended up with 640K naira. In the same vein, another woman who had told churchgoers she needed N6.3 million ended up with N9.2 million after donations from church members had been gathered.
Since then, there has been an influx of supportive comments from both Jimmy’s fans and the general public in reaction to his altruistic act, expressing appreciation and respect for the young pastor’s unwavering commitment to aiding those in need.
The announcement of Jimmy Odukoya’s election as the senior pastor of the Fountain of Life Church is no longer fresh news. On Sunday, September 17, 2023, at a church service, the board of trustees of the ministry had him elected.
