Peter Okoye Offers To Buy Victor Osimhen A New Car For His 25th Birthday
Victor Osimhen, a forward for Napoli and star of the Super Eagles, has been in the news lately from receiving birthday wishes from fans and well-wishers in Nigeria and beyond.
On Friday, December 29, 2023, Osimhen, who had inked a lucrative contract with Napoli that would pay him N206.6 million a week, shared a number of images on his Instagram profile to celebrate his new age.
The Nigerian football star, popular for his remarkable on-field performance, just took home the CAF Awards’ best male player of the year title. So, joining Nigerians home and in diaspora to celebrate the footballer, who also happens to be his close friend, Peter Okoye, widely recognized as Mr. P via his Instagram page, shared a birthday post in honor of Osimhen.
In his post, Mr. P, half of the singing group, P-Square, wished him a happy birthday and also threw him a blank check by inquiring from the player the exact ride he would want as a birthday gift from him. And it sure didn’t look like Mr. P was just messing around.
However, when Osimhen caught wind of the blank check offered him by Peter Okoye, he simply responded with “My bro, I appreciate,” showing his gratitude for the kind offer while also respectfully passing on it.
