In a recent interview with Chude, a famous Nollywood actress, Kate Henshaw, opened up about her mixed feelings towards Davido, the CEO of the DMW label. Kate recounted an unpleasant experience with Davido at an event, leaving her feeling disrespected when he failed to acknowledge her presence. Despite this, Kate praised Davido’s talent, hard work, and generosity towards society. She acknowledged his contributions to the music industry and lauded his role in the Hollywood movie Coming to America. The actress’s candid remarks shed light on the complexities of human relationships, where admiration and disappointment can coexist. Speaking to Chude, Kate said:
“Well, I’m not a fan.””I like his music, but, personally, I don’t know him. I’ve met him, he didn’t greet. Me, I’m sorry o. No, I’m not sorry. I’m old enough. He didn’t greet me. And for me, I believe you should be respectful. What you have… you don’t have… it’s OK. I love his music, but, for me, personality matters.”
