Kate Henshaw Biography
Born in Cross River State on July 19, 1971, Kate Henshaw is the eldest of four children. Her primary education was at the private St. Mary’s school in Ajele, Lagos. Later, she was accepted to study secondary school at the Federal Government Girl College in Calabar. She studied remedial studies at the University of Calabar for a year. She enrolled in the Unilag College of Medicine to study medical microbiology. She later majored in the field at the School of Medical Lab Science at the Lagos-based LUTH (Lagos University Teaching Hospital). The Bauchi State General Hospital employed Henshaw, who was a model before becoming an actress. She was in several print and television ads for Shield deodorant. Kate is devoted to her health. On her workout videos, some followers criticize her for being overly muscular. She is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, model, singer, actress, and television personality.

In 1999, Henshaw married British-born Roderick James Nuttal, with whom she shares a child. Despite Henshaw and Nuttal’s 2011 divorce, she occasionally uses the “Nuttal” name. Despite losing the primary to Rt. Hon. Essien Ayi, she was named Special Adviser Liaison Lagos in December 2015 by Governor Ben Ayade of Cross River State. Henshaw was bestowed with the title of Member of the Order of the Federal Republic (MFR) by the Nigerian federal government in 2011. Henshaw’s campaign demonstrated her commitment to her political aspirations.
Henshaw served as the brand ambassador for Blessing Perfumes, a UK-based perfume line, in 2012. She represents Promasidor Nigeria Limited’s “Onga” seasoning as a brand ambassador. Henshaw and Dan Foster were chosen to serve as judges on the reality show Nigeria Got Talent in September 2012. Henshaw and Banky W were appointed Samsung Mobile Division brand ambassadors in 2013. When a Twitter user tagged Henshaw in a 2016 photo of two-year-old Michael Alvez, who was born with an ulcerous tumour on his face, Henshaw became interested in the story. She and a few others gave 8 million naira for the boy’s medical care. The family, however, declined all assistance and requested that the money be returned. Numerous honours have been bestowed upon her, such as the Lifetime Achievement Award for Best Accomplished Actress in Nigeria, the Golden Icon Movie Academy Awards for Best Actress of the Year, the City People Entertainment Awards for Best Actress in a Supporting Role, and the Africa Magic Viewers Choice Award for Best Actress in Nigeria.
