Summer Walker And Safaree Samuels Urge The Public To “Cancel” Balenciaga In The Same Way They Did Ye And Kyrie Irving
Following the release of their child-sexualizing advertisement, Summer Walker & Safaree argue that fashion giant Balenciaga should be treated in the same way as Ye & Kyrie Irving.
After featuring two young girls holding toy animals while wearing what appears to be bondage attire in an advertisement, Balenciaga has faced backlash online. The fashion brand, known for its audacious fashion choices and formerly linked to celebrities like Kim Kardashian, showcased young women cradling stuffed animals in contrast to the dreadful bondage outfits.
One picture featured a little girl with ginger hair wearing a T-shirt from the company while clutching the strap that was attached to a white bear that was wearing a vest and had a padlocked choker around its neck. In another, a brunette toddler was holding a purple plush animal that was dressed in BDSM-like clothing and was wearing a blue outfit.
And just like most folks joined Balenciaga to cancel Kanye West and Kyrie Irving, R&B singer, Summer Walker is of the opinion that everyone should also do the same now for the billion dollar company. The singer, on Instagram, wrote, “Cancel them how y’all cancelled Kyrie and Kanye.”
Apparently, Nicki Minaj’s ex, Safaree Samuels also shares a similar opinion to Summer’s. He thinks the company deserves that fate as they brought it upon themselves. So far, however, Balenciaga has issued apologies for the inappropriate ad, but people are totally not having it!
