Taylor Swift Teases ‘Timetable’ Release Schedule For Incoming Album

Taylor Swift’s fans eagerly anticipate the release of her upcoming album, ‘The Tortured Poets Department,’ which is set to drop on April 19. This album marks her eleventh studio album and the successor to her Grammy-award-winning album, ‘Midnights,’ released in 2022. The album features collaborations with Florence + The Machine on ‘Florida!!!’ and Post Malone on ‘Fortnight.’ In contrast, other tracks on the album are titled ‘My Boy Only Breaks His Favorite Toys,’ ‘Down Bad,’ ‘But Daddy, I Love Him,’ ‘I Can Do It With A Broken Heart,’ and ‘The Smallest Man Who Ever Lived.’

Swift has been ramping up the hype around the album by leaving clues and Easter eggs for her fans. She recently shared an animated video on Instagram titled ‘The TTPD Timetable,’ which gives fans a glimpse into the department and hints at the release day events. The video features a clock pointing at 2 o’clock, a recurring clue in many of her recent posts. It also reveals a calendar showing ‘The Tortured Poets Department Release Day’ on April 19 with an 8 p.m. ET music video release. The calendar also displays a mystery tally that reaches the number 14, and there is an entry for Saturday that is not visible.

The video also has hidden details, including images of Swift at her ‘Eras Tour’ piano and images of her with close friend and collaborator Jack Antonoff. Recently, a lyric from the album, “Even statues crumble if they’re made to wait,” was leaked at a Spotify event, and a video of Swift typing the same phrase was shared on Spotify’s page for the album. It appears that ‘Tortured Poets’ is based on the five stages of grief, with each playlist representing one of these stages. Fans speculate that the album could delve into Swift’s six-year relationship with actor Joe Alwyn (Conversations With Friends) and their 2023 break-up. It’s been reported that Alwyn and the actors Paul Mescal and Andrew Scott had a WhatsApp group chat called ‘The Tortured Man Club.’

Taylor Swift is set to resume her ‘Eras Tour’ after the release of her latest LP. The tour will kick off in Europe next month and move to the UK and Ireland in June. Swift has eight shows at Wembley Stadium in London this summer as part of the tour, with support from the famous band Paramore. Fans can expect a career-spanning setlist from Swift featuring old and new fan-favourite songs. The tour promises to be an unforgettable experience for Swift’s fans, with stunning visuals and energetic performances from the pop superstar and her talented crew.
