Tiwa Savage’s Performance In Warri Interrupted By An Overly Passionate Hug From A Fan
On Tuesday, December 26, during the Warri Again event, Nigerian music icon Tiwatope Omolara Savage, better known by her stage as Tiwa Savage, had an surprise encounter with an excited fan.
Overwhelmed with emotion and pleasure at being in the presence of the Afrobeats queen herself, the fan took advantage of Tiwa’s performance to show her unshakable and low-key disturbing fan love.
The incident started when a female fan gave Tiwa Savage a big, hard hug, tightly locking one of her legs with both hands. The fan clung to the singer and refused to let go, even when other fans and security guards tried to intervene. Things got so bad that more help was needed to get Savage out of the fan’s tight grip.
They had to use a little bit of force to get the fan to let go, using a tactic that included a subtle kick to divert attention for a little time. Tiwa Savage was then helped back to her feet safely.
However, despite the unexpected turn of events, Tiwa carried on with her performance, demonstrating her professionalism and fortitude in the face of unforeseen difficulties.
Her hit songs including “Loaded” starring Asake, “Who’s Your Guy” featuring Spyro, “Like” featuring Reekado Banks and Fiokee, and “Stamina” featuring Ayra Starr and Young John were all performed by Tiwa Savage for the crowd.
