Tweeps Shocked As Burna Boy Publicly Celebrates Fan (Video)

Many have come to think of him as a pugnacious, no-nonsense fellow who is ready to get dirty when he is angry. So when Burna Boy, who is not particularly effusive with his fans, showed his humane and considerate side, many were shocked, surprised.

What really happened? A fan had shared a clip of their father, who had gone viral at some point, and noted that they took him to see the celebrated singer.

In the caption, the fan implored the public to help them get Burna Boy’s attention with the tweet, and that a “happy birthday” from the “African Giant” would go a long way.

Well, Burna Boy came through soon enough. Retweeting the fan’s tweet, the “Twice As Tall” crooner wished the father a happy birthday, calling him a true fan. He noted that the video, which you can check out below, made his day, while also expressing the hope to one day see the father.

A gesture like this from Davido may not have resonated much because that is his nature. But since it is coming from Burna Boy, who rarely does such, many Nigerians were understandably shocked.
