Victony Scheduled To Headline This Year’s Edition Of Kampala’s Malembe Block Party

Kampala is hosting another Nigerian artist this year!

Nigerian musician Victony is scheduled to perform at the Malembe Block Party, which will celebrate its third edition in Kampala at the end of April.

Tony Ebuka Victor, better known as Victony, has amassed a devoted fan base thanks to singles like “Soweto,” “Kolomental,” “Apollo,” and his most recent single, “Everything.” His most recent “Babylon” collaboration with Patoranking, also helped cement his status in the Afrobeats genre even more.

The musician was announced by Malembe Lifestyle as the main act for their forthcoming Block Party in March, which was the first confirmation of his performance. It’s established that the Malembe Block Party introduced renowned Afrobeats musicians to Uganda.

In 2019, WSTRN and Joeboy performed at the event’s debut; in 2022, UK group NSG performed. Victony is set to headline this year’s event, which is set to take place at Lugogo Hockey Grounds on April 27. Although the lineups for the opening artists and DJs have not yet been announced, Malembe Lifestyle, the organizers, has a track record of putting together amazing events.
