Victony To Undergo Surgery

Victony, a successful Nigerian artist known for songs like Apollo, Kolomental, and Soweto, will soon get another operation.

As you may already be aware, Anthony Ebuka Victor, better known by his stage as Victony, was involved in a car crash in the first quarter of 2021 while returning from an event. Unfortunately, his companion Doyin passed away, while the others suffered serious injuries. Victony was soon taken to the hospital, where he underwent surgery and received medical care.

Victony only made public appearances in a wheelchair after a successful surgery since he wasn’t yet able to walk.

Victony refused to be overcome by his situation. In fact, the event was a turning point in both his personal life and musical career. He released more music, worked with several of his idols, obtained their co-signs, and even shared the stage with some of them. At a Davido concert in December 2021, he stood for the first time following surgery to perform “Holy Father” alongside Mayorkun.

The superstar announced today via his Instagram story that he will be out of the music industry for a bit as he would be having his last operation.

He said, “I miss y’all & I’m tryna get it together. One more surgery, gonna be out 4 a while. Trust the pot to be hot still, serving in a bit 😉.”

Fans and music lovers alike have continued to pour in their good wishes for the Superstar and hope he comes back better and stronger.
