A Nigerian actor, Frederick Nnaemeka Leonard, was born on May 1, 1980. 2014 he won the Golden Icons Academy Movie Award for Best Supporting Actor in a Film. In 2016, he won the City People Movie Award for Best Supporting Actor of the Year (English) at the City People Entertainment Awards.
Leonard began acting in the Nigerian film business in 2001, appearing in a few one-scene roles. However, he stopped working almost soon after making his debut to finish his university studies and earn a degree. After completing his studies at the university, Leonard returned to Nollywood, the popular name for the Nigerian film business, in 2008 and landed his first significant role in the film, “Indian Doctor.”

When Frederick Leonard’s father passed away in 2000, his mother was left to look after him and his sister. In 2016, 16 years after the incident, Frederick lost his mother to death. It took him a while to return to his feet because he loved his mother.
Leonard is now an orphan who has talked publicly about the devastation of losing both parents, particularly his mother’s death, which he describes as an unpleasant situation that has left a hole in his life.
