Peggy Ovire, Frederick Leonard’s Wife, Blasts Kiekie For Splitting Rent With Her Husband

Peggy Ovire, the spouse of Frederick Leonard, has criticized Kiekie for suggesting that married women split household expenses with their husbands. After the media personality said that she couldn’t be living in a home where she doesn’t pay rent and also supports her spouse both financially and in other ways, Kiekie’s contentious interview provoked a wave of outrage.

On a podcast show hosted by the media personality Toke Makinwa, the comedian who wed Shonaola Ilori in February 2020 made the claims. As it lessens the stress of living expenditures, Kiekie contends that it is ideal for women to split bills with their spouses.

Peggy took to Instagram to criticize the comedian, saying Kiekie should acknowledge that she makes more money than her husband and that’s why they split the expenses. Mrs. Ovire claims that her husband won’t let her pay any bills since she has to take care of their home and be available in case of emergencies.

In Kiekie’s opinion, a woman should be glad to contribute for rent and other domestic costs if she can afford to do so. She contends that this way of thinking makes sure that each partner has an equal investment in their shared property and is equally invested in keeping it up.
