Another core thing to look for in a phone is the OS and battery capacity. The new Asus ROG smartphone is based on the Android 13 operating system. It runs a 6000 mAh battery capacity, which also includes a fast charging feature. The phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 (4 nm) Chipset and also has Adreno 740 Graphical Processing unit. The connectivity options include Wifi, Bluetooth(v5.2), USB Type-C 3.1, GPS, OTG, and more. The phone is available in storm white colours and comes with a Dual SIM card that accepts Nano SIM. Price In Nigeria
Launching on April 13 in Nigeria, the price of the Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate in Nigeria starts from NGN 720,000.
“Given their gaming focus, both devices are, of course, equipped with Qualcomm’s latest flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. But there’s also an “upgraded GameCool 7 thermal system” that’s designed to extract as much performance as possible out of this processor by keeping it cool under load.” According to Asus, the phones’ vapor chamber cooling system dissipates heat up to 168 percent. This is more efficient than last year’s ROG Phone 6—definitely a significant upgrade.
This is excellent news for users who are interested in the cooling feature. The Asus ROG Phone 7 Ultimate has an active cooling fan accessory, the AeroActive Cooler 7. The Verge writes that when the AeroActive Cooler 7 is attached, “a small air inlet (the AeroActive Portal) in the handset opens and allows cool air to pass directly over the vapor chamber’s cooling fins.”
Asus says this extra cooling feature allows for “up to an extra 20 percent of thermal efficiency.” The AeroActive Portal first appeared on last year’s ROG Phone 6D Ultimate. According to The Verge, “it doesn’t appear to have stopped the ROG Phone 7 Ultimate from getting an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.”
The new smartphone will definitely be a hit in Nigeria, primarily for gamers who can afford it. So far, user reviews for the phone has been positive.
