Pink (stylized as P!nk), born Alecia Beth Moore on September 8, 1979, is an American singer, songwriter, actor, and dancer. She formerly belonged to the female group Choice. Pink received a solo recording contract from LaFace Records in 1995 when they recognized her talent. Can’t Take Me Home, her R&B-influenced debut studio album, achieved double platinum certification in the US and produced two Billboard Hot 100 top ten singles.
