Since the Fall album is supposed to be more rocking in the style of the Strokes, I'm sure it will be better than this. The lyrics on "Opening Night" are cringe-worthy as is Rivers' falsetto on "Angels on Vacation" The best song is the single "A Little Bit of Love" and it is not up to par with other Weezer hits. The drums are nearly absent in the mix, sounding thin and basic. I will still listen to Spring, but not as much as their more rocking tunes.

Sorry… long time fan and I keep trying to stay open minded but it’s really hard to listen to this and think anything but realize that our relationship is over. Wish them the best with their new fans and appreciate what we had. But goodbye
Perfect Springtime Weezer

Sounds like the band made a soundtrack for a springtime road-trip to a renaissance festival. Love it. The Opening night has some great riffs and vocals “Shakespeare makes me happy!” Weezer is full on Spring themed Nerd rock here and I am enjoying the ride.
