A$AP Rocky Seems To Respond To Drake’s Diss On Kid Cudi’s “Insano” Album Feature

A$AP Rocky has reacted to Drake’s criticism of him and Rihanna by releasing a new album with Kid Cudi.

On Friday, January 12, Cudi released his most recent album, INSANO, which includes a song called “WOW” that he did with Harlem rappers. A$AP Rocky seems to take aim at Drizzy in the song, stating, “These n-ggas can’t stomach me, gotta go get a mandrake.”

Mandrake is the root of a plant that has been used historically to treat a range of stomach problems. It is obtained either from plants of the genus Mandragora found in the Mediterranean region. Drake seemed to have A$AP in mind. On his October release of the For All the Dogs album, Rocky featured Rihanna, with whom he had previously been romantically linked.

He gave fans the impression that he was speaking to RiRi in the song “Fear of Heights.” Then, Drake specifically mentioned Rocky on “Another Late Night.” In an interview with TMZ the next month, the A$AP Mob member was questioned about the lyrics, but he remained silent.

In the meanwhile, Travis Scott, Young Thug, Lil Wayne, Pharrell, Lil Yachty, DJ Drama, and the late XXXTENTACION all make appearances on Kid Cudi’s INSANO album. The album is the sequel to 2022’s Entergalactic, which was made available concurrently with the Netflix original series of the same name.
