“A Kid Named Cudi” Will Be Released This Month, According To Kid Cudi
In a string of tweets published on Monday, Kid Cudi revealed that his debut mixtape, “A Kid Named Cudi,” would be made available on streaming sites later in the month. The Boy Who Flew To The Moon Vol. 1, which seems to be a collection of his greatest hits, is scheduled to be released this Friday, July 8.
“July 8th ‘The Boy Who Flew To The Moon Vol. 1’ (Best of),” announced Cudi. “July 15th ‘A Kid Named Cudi.’ I love u. Ur welcome.”
In a subsequent post, he added, “‘A Kid Named Cudi’ dropped July 17th 2008. This official release is 2 days shy of the 14th anniversary. I am so damn excited u all get to enjoy it again, remastered, w all the jams that made people fans from jump. Also, did a new intro.”
Cudi also stated that the new album would be released on vinyl. A complete tracklist and artwork for The Boy Who Flew To The Moon Vol. 1 will be released on Tuesday and Wednesday, respectively.
The brand-new endeavors precede Cudi’s much anticipated eighth studio album Entergalactic, which will serve as the soundtrack for a Netflix series of the same name that Cudi is developing. On September 30, 2022, Entergalactic will debut as a television series and an album.
